MEATliquor

A burger place for when you want to get your hands dirty. I recommend the Dead Hippie burger, monkey fingers, green chilli burger, their hard shakes and the rum cocktail I had. V. strong though.

Espresso Room

A small but cosy spot in Covent Garden. Perfect for a catch up with friend or a place to duck into for good coffee whilst you’re in town!

Santa Nata

Well worth a visit if you love pasteis de nata! WHO DOESN’T?! There are two stores in Covent Garden and it’s sosososoosso good.

Golden Dragon

I’ve been coming here since I was little. The prices are slightly higher than other Chinatown restaurants but the quality is better (though the service is worse). Balance.

  1. Shu, your Cantonese will put Malaysian Chinese to shame! Even the average ordinary ABC here speaks Cantonese at a primary school level. Actually, they have an oral Cantonese exam at Chinese University of HK. Open to public. I know you will nail it with no problems!

  2. Such a cute video!! I was skeptical like how will your friends know what you’re saying if they don’t speak the language, but your bestie did great ☺️ I don’t speak Cantonese but it’s fun watching you practice yours!

  3. Not even a begginer here.!!!
When using cantonese U go faster than the speed of light.!!
Cappuccino and latte…those words are pretty familiar to me.!!.😁
    ❀️ The glasses You're wearing…. ciao!
