The independently owned, 4 star
London Bridge Hotel, which opened in Autumn 1998, is in an ideal
location on the edge of the City of London. The hotel site has
a heritage, which dates back to Roman Britain when the area was
already at the centre of links with Europe - both in commerce
and communications. Significant archaeological findings unearthed
during redevelopment are now with the Museum of London. The site
was most recently a former telephone exchange and its 1915 façade
has been restored as a local landmark for the community. All the
rooms have satellite TV, voicemail, internet access, mini- bar,
tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, trouser press, safe (large
enough to take a laptop computer), modem and fax port. The hotel
provides five conference rooms for meetings or private dining
for 8-100 people. Borough Bar & Dining is a spacious, contemporary
bar offering a wide choice of drink and excellent food in a relaxing
atmosphere. For a more formal dining experience you can enjoy
a return to the gracious colonial days in our 'Georgetown' restaurant.
The authentic cuisine offers a mixture of Malaysian Chinese and
Indian flavors all under one roof! |
